FluentCommunity allows you to add Links to any specific Course. This article covers the detailed process of adding the Links for Courses.
Add Link in a Course #
First, go to the Courses section from the FluentCommunity navbar and open a Desired Course by clicking the View Course button where you want to set the Link.
You can also create a new course by clicking the New Course button in the top right corner. To learn the detailed process of creating a New Course, read this Documentation.
Click the Edit Lessons button in the top right corner.
Again, click on the Edit button in the top left corner.
Now, go to the Course Links tab from the top navbar and click the Add New Link button.
Then, a popup will appear where you should give the necessary information to add a new Link.
Once you are done, click the Save button to save all the changes.
A brief explanation of the options mentioned above is given below –
- Name of the Link: Here, type the name you want to set for your link.
Also, you can add an Icon beside the Link Name. To do this click the Empty Box beside the Name of the Link field and a popup will appear.
Here, you can set Emoji, Shape, Custom SVG, or Custom Image as the Icon.
- URL: Here, provide the URL of the Link where you want to redirect users after clicking the link.
- Enable this Link: By default, this option is checked (i.e., the link is enabled). If you want to disable the link and keep it as a draft, Uncheck the Box.
- Open this link in a new tab: This one is also checked by default. If you don’t want to open the link in a new tab, Uncheck the Box.
- Visibility: Choose Who Can See the Link:
Everyone: The link will be visible to all users.
Logged-in Users Only: Only users who are logged into the platform will be able to see the link.
By Space/Course Memberships: Only users who are members of selected courses or spaces will see the link.
Once you added the Links, click the Save Changes & Close button and the link/s will be added to your desired Course.
Also, you can Edit/Delete any Link at any time by clicking the Edit/Delete button.
Here, you can see all the Links added to the Top Navbar under the chosen Course.
