FluentCommunity offers a straightforward system for managing comments and reactions to posts, fostering interaction and engagement among community members. Here’s how you can handle them:
Adding Comments #
Locate the Post: Navigate to any post in the community feed where you want to leave a comment.
Write a Comment: Click on the comment icon beneath the post. Type your message into the comment box. You can also add multiple media attachments to your comment. After writing, simply click Reply to publish it.
Replying to Comments #
Under the post, locate the specific comment you want to respond to. Press the Reply button beneath the comment.
Managing Reactions #
Reacting to a Post: To react to a post, click the reaction icon (love) found under the post.
Reacting to Comments: You can also react to individual comments by clicking the reaction icon below each comment.
Advanced Comment Management #
FluentCommunity provides advanced options to help maintain community standards and highlight valuable discussions:
- Locate Your Comment: Find your comment under the post.
- Pin to Top: Admins can ensure the most important information stays visible by clicking the three-dot button beside a comment and selecting Pin to Top.
- Report Comment: To keep the community safe, members can click the three-dot button and select Report Comment to flag inappropriate content for moderation.
- Edit: Click the three-dot menu and select Edit to update your comment’s text or media.
- Delete: Click the three-dot menu and choose Delete to permanently remove your comment.
- View More Comments: If a post has multiple responses, clicking the View more comments link opens a dedicated pop-up modal.

- Sorting Comments: Inside the pop-up modal, you can organize the discussion to find the most relevant content.
By clicking the sorting dropdown, you can filter comments based on Latest, Popular, Earliest, or Most Replied.
