The Activity Feed is the heart of FluentCommunity, where members can view, interact, and engage with all recent activities happening within the space. It’s a dynamic place that keeps everyone connected and updated on the latest posts, comments, reactions, and more. Here’s a breakdown of how Activity Feeds work and how you can make the most of this feature.
Features of the Activity Feed #
- Posts & Updates: Members can share text, images, videos, links, or polls, all of which appear in the feed.
- Comments & Reactions: Engage with posts through comments or quick reactions (likes, emojis).
- Polls & Surveys: View and participate in polls or surveys directly from the feed.
- Mentions & Hashtags: Use @mentions to tag members and hashtags to categorize content.
- Filtering: Members can filter content to focus on specific updates like posts, articles, media, or polls.
- About: In the right sidebar section you will see the About section that will give information about the Space.
- Recent Space Activities: Recent Space activities show the recent posts and activities of the space.
Use the Activity Feed #
- Viewing the Feed: After accessing the Space you are joined in, the Activity Feed displays a chronological list of recent community updates.
- Interacting with Posts: Like, comment, or share posts directly from the feed.
- Creating a New Post: Post updates by clicking on the Post field at the top of the feed.
- Sort Content: Use sort to narrow down the type of content you wish to see, such as posts or polls.
- View Content: With a view icon button you can change the view style of Content. You can check out this documentation to know more about view style.
