FluentCommunity 1.6.0: Built-in SEO & Structured Data, and More
Welcome to FluentCommunity major update 1.6.0. This release brings four major features: Built-in SEO & Structured Data, Post Preview Before Publishing, Post Scheduling feature, Sorting Options for Posts, and some improvements.
Let’s see how these features will give your community a better experience and boost your community engagement.
Built-in SEO & Structured Data
As Google started prioritizing user-generated content like forums/discussions, our team is making sure FluentCommunity is compatible with search engines and supports Google’s recommended SEO schema for forums / Discussions.
So, in this update, we’ve introduced Built-in SEO & Structured Data. To do that, we’ve properly submitted and segmented its sitemap files. and Google successfully read and indexed URLs. Now:
- All community content is discoverable by search engines, including user-generated posts, groups, activity feeds, and discussions.
- Fresh content is indexed faster, which is important for an active community site where users regularly contribute.

To confirm that, navigate to the Tools section from your community Portal Settings, and configure the sitemap.
Keep in mind that the Sitemap is only for public portals. If you don’t keep the Portal Access Settings open to everyone, it won’t show.
FluentCommunity is a complete community platform designed for businesses. Download now to create and manage your own community.
Added Post Preview Before Publishing
In this update, we’ve also put the Post Preview Before Publishing feature. Suppose you have added a link to your post, and now you want to see how it will look once it goes live. With FluentCommunity, it’s easier than ever.

Besides, you can see how your post will look in a community feed for better content quality, improve visual consistency, and ultimately save your time from publishing, checking, and editing wrong content. To do that, just click on the eye icon at the right corner of your post box.

Added Post Scheduling Feature
This is our most requested feature by our users. And we listen to our people. So, we have added the Post Scheduling Feature in FluentCommunity version 1.6.0.

So, now users and admins can schedule posts in advance.

It helps users in maintaining a consistent post schedule, plan content for events, launches, or campaigns, and keep the community active, even when they’re offline.

Added Sorting Option for Posts
Now, FluentCommunity users can view their content by Latest Posts, New Activity, Oldest, Popular, Likes, Alphabetical, and Unanswered. This makes it easier to find relevant information quickly, saving time and enhancing their experience. It also gives users more control, potentially increasing satisfaction and engagement with the community.
You can also disable some sorting options for your community if you want to maintain some privacy.
Improvements
We always try to listen to our users, so we improve our existing features continuously. In this update, we have:
- Fixed Digest Email Issue
- Fixed Issue with User Deletion
- Improve UI UX
Conclusion
FluentCommunity update 1.6.0 with built-in SEO and structured data, scheduling post feature, post preview feature, post sorting feature, and general improvements, is likely to boost user experience by offering improved visibility, efficient content planning, updated posting control, better navigation, and overall usability.
